CLARK _ Glenn Ira, age 47, passed away on October 10th, 2004. Glenn was a man of many interests and many friends. He enjoyed time outdoors hunting and fishing. Glenn spent his early years …
on a farm near Ardath, Saskatchewan. He attended Ardath and Conquest schools. The family moved to Saskatoon when Glenn was 11. He attended Lorne Hazelton school and Walter Murray High School in Saskatoon. He worked as a welder and pipe fitter for many years before attending the University of Saskatchewan. He obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in 2000 and went on to obtain a Master of Education degree in 2002. He taught welding at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences, Kelsey campus for many years, working in the piping trades in the summers. Family was important to Glenn, and he went out of his way to bring family together as often as possible. Friends were very important. He had several circles of friends, and he enjoyed introducing his friends to each other. Glenn provided support to his friends as needed, and he, in turn, received a great deal of support from his many friends. This was especially true after a boating accident left him a paraplegic in 2002. Glenn is survived by his brothers, John Clark of Yellowknife, NWT and Jim (Brenda) Clark of Kamloops, BC and their children, Sean and Allison Clark; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a great many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Brenda. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 29th, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Stephen’s Anglican Church (10 Grosvernor Cres.). The Cremation Committal will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (104 2301 Ave. C N, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5Z5), or to the Rick Hansen Man in Motion Foundation (5th Floor, 520 West 6th Ave., Vancouver, BC V5Z 1A1).
