The conference will examine the nature of disciplinary and interdisciplinary practices across the social sciences, as well as the relation of the social to the natural sciences, applied sciences and the professions. The focus of papers will range from the finely grained and empirical (research practices and results exemplifying one or more disciplines), to wide-ranging multi-disciplinary and transdisciplinary practices, to perspectives on knowledge and method. McGraw-Hill Ryerson is very pleased to announce the McGraw-Hill Ryerson Student Scholarship Award Program.
This program has been crafted around the learning experience and is available to all full-time undergraduate post-secondary students across Canada. It is designed to recognize student initiative, integrity and engagement in the classroom, while supporting a commitment to teaching and learning in higher education.
A national advisory board of academics and staff from colleges and universities was established to guide the creation of this program.
Members of this board will participate on the adjudication committee.
Nominations for scholarships must be received by June 30th to be eligible for an award in 2006.
