This year the annual conference of the International Visual Literacy Association meets in downtown Fort Worth immediately before AECT. Make the most of your conference time and travel by taking advantage of both conferences within a single week and on one airline ticket!

IVLA’s annual conference provides scholars, students, researchers, and
artists an opportunity to present their work and interact with peers. The
conference facilitates exchange of innovative practice, presentation of research results, and discussion of work in progress. Formal presentations, papers, roundtable discussions, poster sessions, and visual exhibits are invited.

The deadline for proposals is fast approaching — MAY 15th.

Town Hall Meeting on Schools Schedule Change

Last week, you received an e-mail message inviting you to a town hall
meeting on the concept of Schools, scheduled for Wednesday, May 10. We
have since learned that there is a major scheduling conflict with the
College of Graduate Studies and Research faculty council meeting. To
provide an opportunity for all faculty members to attend both events,
the time of the town hall meeting on the concept of Schools has been
changed and will now be held from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May
10, in Convocation Hall.

We would appreciate if you could bring the change of time for this event
to the attention of faculty, staff, and students in your college/unit.

Additional information, prior to the town hall meeting, will be posted
on the University website: www.usask.ca/vpacademic/integrated-planning.
