The theme for this year’s conference is “Real Issues, Real Solutions for Global Learning.”

Global learning is learning without boundaries, it is, “the combination of global reach and global perspective to educate a global citizen.”

The global learner is encountering unprecedented challenges in the face of information saturation. Among these are the formulation of new criteria for decision-making, critical thinking, and filtering and processing, and an increased need for technological sophistication.
