U of S Chapter of Best Buddies

Dear U of S College of Education,

My name is Kim, and I am the Campus Coordinator for the U of S Chapter of
Best Buddies, which will be launched this upcoming fall term. Best Buddies
is a national volunteer program that pairs university students with
intellectually disabled individuals in the community. Through regular
contact and social events, the Best Buddies program strives to foster
friendship, understanding, and to enrich the lives of all parties involved.
Best Buddies is sure to offer volunteers the opportunity to develop skills
in mentorship, leadership, and communication, as well as offer a fun,
exciting way for students to have a positive impact on their community.

As Best Buddies is in its first year at the U of S, we would like to ask for
your help in getting the word out about this outstanding new community
service program. We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us
advertise to your students by directing them to our website –
http://homepage.usask.ca/~kkh002/ – in the first week of classes (or as soon
as possible!). Feel free to contact me at kkh002@mail.usask.ca with
questions. Thank you!

Kind regards,

Kimberly Hsu
Campus Coordinator, U of S Best Buddies
