Sharing Collective Perspectives for Indigenous Education & Research

Aboriginal Learning Knowledge Centre, Canadian Council on Learning; UBC Faculty of Education, Indigenous Education Institute of Canada; and First Nations House of Learning are hosting this event:

To share our Indigenous educational research experiences and knowledge;
To engage in dialogue about emerging theory, methodology, and praxis resulting from
Indigenous educational research;
To gather directions for future Indigenous knowledge research; and
To finalize the establishment of the Canadian Association for the Study of Indigenous Education (CASIE), which will be within the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE).

The format of the event will be a roundtable dialogue and plenary sessions. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

This pre-conference is free but requires registration before April. 15. Please circulate this information to anyone who may be interested. See attached information poster and registration form.
