It is the world’s most spectacular and unifying event, and in less than three years the eyes of the world will be focused on British Columbia and Canada as we celebrate the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. We are currently looking for an:

Intern, Technology Training Team

General Accountability
This position will provide support for the Technology Training Team performing a variety of
training and educational support tasks, which will include development of e-learning modules and assisting the Technology Training Team to develop learning tools for Games Management Systems. On-site training provided when required. This is an evolving position and responsibilities may shift over time. Titles may be adjusted from time to time to accurately reflect responsibilities. This role will run from September to December
2008, and is an unpaid internship opportunity.

Responsibilities
• Assist the IT Training Developer with day-to-day business, including
development of e-learning modules and courses
• Co-facilitation of technical training when required
• Assist in the development of System User Manuals
• Execute Administrative duties related to e-learning and classroom training
• Support of special Training Projects within the Technology Training Team
• Other duties may be assigned as required

Education/Experience
• Currently working towards a degree in: instructional design, e-learning, learning
management, technology or other related programs
• Experience with an e-learning authoring program (e.g. Captivate, Snag-it or
other similar tools)
• Technical writing skills an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet) is essential Skills
• Fluency in French an asset
• Fluency in English required

Location
• Vancouver

Time Commitment
• Minimum 2 days per work week required
