2019 D2L Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning Recipients

The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE), in partnership with D2L, are proud to present five outstanding post-secondary educators with the 2019 D2L Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning. Selected from an international pool of applicants, the award recognizes educators who are redefining the learning experience of students through innovative practices

  • Fun Man Fung, Assistant Director, Education – Institute for Application of Learning Science & Educational Technology, Department of Chemistry – National University of Singapore, Singapore
  • John Nychka, Professor, Faculty of Engineering, University of Alberta, Canada;
  • Eva Peisachovich, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Nursing, York University, Canada;
  • Diane Salter, Associate Professor, Director of Faculty Development, St. George’s University, Grenada; and
  • Anne Trépanier, Associate Professor, School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies, Carleton University, Canada.

D2L award recipients will be recognized at the annual STLHE conference (June 11-14) in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

La Société pour l’avancement de la pédagogie dans l’enseignement supérieur (SAPES), en partenariat avec la compagnie D2L, est fière de décerner à cinq éducateurs remarquables qui enseignent au niveau post-secondaire le Prix d’innovation en pédagogie pour l’année 2019. Les lauréats ont été choisis parmi un bassin international de candidats et le prix récompense ces éducateurs remarquables qui redéfinissent l’expérience des étudiants grâce à des pratiques innovatrices.
